Confirmation is a 3-year experience that roots our young people in Christian tradition using hands-on activities, Bible studies and mission trips. It is open to all 7th through 9th graders. Confirmation meets on Wednesday evenings.

Ecumenical Youth Group
Recently, the faith communities of Hope Lutheran, River Falls United Methodist and First Congregational Church have come together with their ideas, inspirations and visions in an effort to encourage a shared youth ministry to take shape and form.
We will begin the Ecumenical Youth Group gatherings again this fall with Diana Johnson Villeneuve as our new leader. Diana has worked with many of our youth through the YMCA programs and she has many cool, fun ideas.

Spring Break Mission Trip 2009
Back Bay Mission -- Biloxi, Mississippi
Who: Any youth or adult, 8th grade (14 years and older by March 2009)
What: A chance to put faith in action by painting and repairing houses
When: March 14-21, 2009 (spring break in RF but not Hudson)
Where: UCC-affiliated Back Bay Mission in Biloxi
Cost: Approximately $250 to $300 all inclusive (air, meals, lodging)
How many: We have 18 youth spots and 6 to 8 adult spots
Outline for Spring Mission Trip:
Saturday: Fly to New Orleans, night in hotel
Sunday: Sunday worship, afternoon on the beach, then head to mission
Mon-Fri: Up early to get to worksite
Have a late lunch and shower then afternoons free
Beach anyone? Schooner Sail?
Evening programming and devotions
Saturday: Clean, pack up, tour of New Orleans, then fly home
